Recommended minSdkVersion, maxSdkVersion and targetSdkVersion for flutter project

Hello at you I would like to know what is the recommended minSdkVersion, maxSdkVersion and targetSdkVersion for flutter project.
Thank you in advance!

It all depends on what you want to do. But in general terms, I would always go for:

minSdkVersion: 23 ( Android 6.0)
targetSdkVersion: “Latest version released” (Currently 29)
compileSdkVersion: “Latest version released” (Currently 29)

If you are using something like “Firebase Auth” you need at least “minSdkVersion: 21”, but the market of phones with versions lower than Android 6.0 is very small, so I wouldn’t complicate my self going lower than “23”.

For “targetSdkVersion” and “compileSdkVersion” I would go always for latest released to the public, NOT IN BETA. That should always be your goal, to support latest devices.

As for “maxSdkVersion” I would not specify any, normally all new versions of android support everything of the older ones, so I wouldn’t limit my access to those new devices if it is not needed.

Hope it helps :slight_smile:

Thank you very much!!!;
