How to create Android App from Flutter App?

I have been working on a flutter app for quite some time now and it is 75% done. The problem is that I need to use a feature that is only available on native android apps. So my question is that is there a way through which I can “convert” my flutter project to an android project? If so how?

PS: My flutter project uses several plugins like google_firebase and location tracking. So will the converted project still work?

Any inputs would be highly useful as I am unable to find any thread on how to do this. Thank you so much!!

Hello, I’d go down the path of writing custom android specific code for that single feature you need from native android, leaving all the base code of your app in Dart/Flutter, leveraging the so called platform-channels. Please check the documentation for it:

 Have fun! :vulcan_salute:

Hey Patrick, I read through the docs but found a solution native to flutter, so the issue was solved.
I now need to send the location data of the user which I collect even when the app is killed to Firestore.
It would be really helpful if you could help me with this!!

Link to my exact question: How do I send data to Firestore when app is killed?

Glad to hear you solved it with native flutter!
